About me

I am a former Christian music minister turned Humanist Celebrant. I spent my entire life in the Christian church - eventually going to a Christian college and becoming a music minister. Eventually, my values stopped aligning with Christianity and I left Christianity, and religion completely.

I now work in medical research full-time in Nashville. I became a Humanist Celebrant to continue to use my ministry experience in a way that I am comfortable and that aligns with my beliefs. If you don’t know much about humanism, I invite you to read more here.

Work and humanism aside, I am married to my wife, Krystal, and together we have 4 dogs. On the weekends we like to garden, hike, and grill out with neighbors.
